Marjaree Mason

The Marjaree Mason Center (MMC) is a domestic violence shelter and support services organization serving Minneapolis and the surrounding region. The project involved renovating and expanding their existing facility to increase capacity and enhance services. The renovation added 15 new shelter beds, created dedicated spaces for counseling and children's programs, and upgraded security systems. Prior to the project’s completion, MMC served approximately 450 survivors and their children annually, providing emergency shelter, transitional housing, legal advocacy, and trauma-informed support services. The expanded facility enabled MMC to serve an additional 200 individuals per year and introduced new workforce development programming.
